Chronic Pain and Rehabilitation – Monika Löfgren’s Research Group
The research projects address various aspects of chronic pain, its consequences, and rehabilitation. The projects examine, for example, patients’ perspectives on different phenomena related to pain, symptoms of pain and comorbidities, outcomes of various rehabilitative interventions including return to work, collaboration between healthcare providers and levels of care, fundamental physiological mechanisms relevant to chronic pain, and health economic aspects. The group also studies rehabilitation for patients with post-COVID.
