Furlan lab - Neurobiology of Obesity
In the Furlan lab we use transcriptomics, circuit-tracing methods and functional neural manipulation (i.e. opto- and chemo genetics) to identify and characterize the central and peripheral circuits through which the brain and the organs “talk”. Our goal is to understand how the brain and the body work together to regulate critical physiological processes, with a focus on weight regulation and obesity.
