Our Research
The research interests are broad and include both basic and applied science questions of biological, psychological and social nature in clinical and educational settings. There is a focus on the (i) implementation of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Core Sets for autism and ADHD using digital solutions, (ii) social skills groups training for autistic children and adolescents in clinic and schools (KONTAKT, SKOLKONTAKT, iKONTAKT programs), (iii) twin research in autism and ADHD (Roots of Autism and ADHD Twin Study in Sweden, RATSS), and (iv) the development, adaptation and evaluation of diagnostic instruments for autism, ADHD, social cognition, and problem and adaptive behaviors (e.g. ADOS-2, SRS-2, DMASC, ABAS-3, Conners-3).
Bölte’s research group also comprises an education section for professionals that delivers courses and conferences on diagnosing and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions to professionals, which is one of the largest within KI-Education (Uppdragsutbildning).
