Cancer epidemiology with focus on breast cancer and applied biostatistics – Anna Johansson's research group

We study risk factors for cancer occurrence in the population and long-term outcomes in patients, such as survival. Our research spans several cancer types, in particular breast cancer. We have a special focus on cancer in pregnancy, and fertility in cancer survivors. Our research integrates novel statistical methods with population-based cancer registry data. We collaborate with cancer epidemiologists, statisticians and clinical researchers, especially in Sweden and the Nordic countries.
