Kristoffer Strålin Group - Sepsis and COVID-19

Our group performs clinical and translational research on sepsis, community-acquired pneumonia, and COVID-19.

Group leader

Kristoffer Strålin

Affiliated to research
H7 Department of Medicine, Huddinge

Kristoffer Strålin is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at the Karolinska University Hospital. Within national healthcare projects, he is currently building up a strategy to monitor the Swedish sepsis population and he is involved in the national COVID-19 monitoring.

Together with other groups and within international collaboration projects, he works with precision diagnostics, with the goal to improve prognostication and enable new therapeutical strategies in sepsis and COVID-19.
