Clinical Pancreatology - Miroslav Vujasinovic research group
The group has a focus on pancreatology, from an epidemiological and clinical perspective and conducts high-quality studies on the progression and outcomes of acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis, hereditary pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine and endocrine insufficiency, and fatty pancreas.
Other research interests include the epidemiology and clinical perspective of precancerous pancreatic cystic lesions, the role of endoscopy and nutritional aspect in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases.

The Clinical Pancreatology Research Group is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the understanding and management of pancreatic disorders. The group has a focus on pancreatology, from an epidemiological and clinical perspective and conducts high-quality studies on the progression and outcomes of acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis, hereditary pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine and endocrine insufficiency, and fatty pancreas. Other research interests include the epidemiology and clinical perspective of precancerous pancreatic cystic lesions, the role of endoscopy and the nutritional aspect in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases.
We have several collaborations with other groups at KI, as well as a large national and international network.
The group is part of the Gastroenterology and Rheumatology Unit at the Department of Medicine, Huddinge (MedH).
