HumanLab - our offer

HumanLab aims to be a core facility for comprehensive studies of the human body, based in Bioclinicum with a branch at KI Campus Solna. We will support researchers at KI and other educational institutions, teachers, healthcare professionals and external partners with our services.

Our services will range from cognitive tests to biopsies, high-level clinical trials and extreme physiological test to teaching.

HumanLab will collect biological samples, health data, and personal information from test subjects such as everyday volunteers or patients. It will connect scientists, doctors, engineers, and industry, offering tools like tissue sampling, physiological tests, brain monitoring, digital health solutions, and medical analytics.

Using advanced AI, HumanLab aims to combine biological data, continuous clinical monitoring, and multi-omics analysis to build dynamic digital models of each participant.

ExtremeLab

The ExtremeLab complements the HumanLab with infrastructure for interventional studies on performance and resilience in extreme environments relevant to climate change, aviation, naval and space medicine, and NATO’s cold-weather missions.
