The center is a collaboration between the two health economics research groups at LIME and the Stockholm Center for Health Economics (StoCHE) at SLSO, Region Stockholm. The purpose of the center is to strengthen and coordinate the research and education in the field of health economics, currently conducted at the LIME department at Karolinska Institutet and within R&D at SLSO, Stockholm Region.
At the same time, better conditions will be provided for marketing the health economics research at KI and Region Stockholm towards external actors such as public authorities, regions and the pharmaceutical industry. The conditions for international research collaborations are also improving.
For information about the center contact Clas Rehnberg, director
We have new equipment in LIME’s conference room “Insikten”. It’s moveable and easy to use! As for now, instructions are written on the whiteboard in the room. But basically: just plug the two red-marked cords to your computer and it comes to life! Cordless microphones are found on charge below the screen. When you end your meeting, just unplug the cords and it all goes to sleep.

2024-05-15 to 16 LIME Days 2024
To all that who could participate at the LIME Days – THANK YOU for your engaged contributions! We were as many as 75 that joined in our activities buzzling from start to end.
Our Head of department Carl Johan Sundberg started off and gave some up-dates, followed by a recap of last year’s Unconference topics with some examples of action taken or action (still) needed.
We had a new set of Unconference these days - excellently guided by Henrike Häbel and George Keel!
Secret missions were randomly distributed table wise and ever so impressively pursued! ❤
Sara Kalm, Senior Lecturer, Lund University, gave an interesting and inspiring talk on the topic of Academic housework.
The recently appointed Grant Application Support Council introduced themselves (Sabine Koch, Terese Stenfors, Clas Rehnberg, Niklas Zethraeus, Charli Eriksson), activities to come and expressed a wish for input.
Our new All About LIME TEAMS group was introduced and festively inaugurated by the project leaders Marie Lind and Charlotte Rossland.
Thank you also to Mia von Knorring and Camilla Nystrand for the work on the agenda, and for Mia inspiring us to table talks and Camilla’s creative hat workshop pre-dinner!
And last but not least, thank you Carl Johan and the management group for making these days happen and the emphasis on LIME as our joint mission, both as a serious workplace with possibilities to grasp but also as a place where we need to respect each other, exercise - and laugh!

When we send e-mails to all staff at LIME, there are two addresses we must use: staff@lime.ki.se and komplement-staff@lime.ki.se . The first is auto-generated by central HR-tools and cannot be adjusted. The second mainly contains all the persons who are employed somewhere else at KI and at LIME. Please use both addresses when you have relevant news for all at LIME.
If you should forget, the assistant to the head of department usually forwards e-mails to komplement-staff@lime.ki.se
