Karolinska Institutet Medical Ethics Conference 2023
Welcome to KIMEC2023, aimed at bringing together researchers in medical ethics in Sweden and abroad. The conference will take place at Karolinska Institutet on the 7th to 8th of June, 2023.

The medical ethics unit at LIME, Karolinska Institutet is pleased to announce the Karolinska Institutet Medical Ethics Conference, aimed at bringing together researchers in this field in Sweden and abroad.
We welcome contributions presenting ongoing work in medical ethics, broadly conceived. In particular, we welcome normative approaches or empirical work with clear normative relevance to topics in clinical ethics, public health ethics, research ethics, and medical law.
The conference will take place at Karolinska Institutet, Campus Solna on the 7th to 8th of June, 2023.

Fee & registration
There is no participation fee for this event, but places are limited. Registration will be necessary for those wishing to attend.

Call for abstracts - EXTENDED DEADLINE to March 24th
Abstracts should be
- no longer than 200 words (excluding references)
- submitted by March 24th, 2023
- sent together with a short bio (maximum 10 lines)
- sent to KIMEC2023@lime.ki.se
Dedicated time for each presentation is yet to be decided.

From St Eriksplan (green tube-line), take bus 3 or 6 or 77 and get off at bus stop "Biomedicum" after a short ride.
From Torsplan, take bus 3 or 6 or 77 and get off at bus stop "Biomedicum", also a short ride.
From Biomedicum bus stop, continue in the bus' direction and cross the street, Solnavägen, to the left. Now you see a tall building in the corner, Widerström building. Enter the building and continue to the second floor, where you will find the lecture halls for the conference; Inghe and Wretlind.
