Child mental health promotion and prevention – Team Åhlén

The research encompasses interven-tions to promote wellbeing in young children, prevent anxiety disorders in school children, increase psychiatric care utilisation among migrant children and adolescents, and reduce substance use, including alcohol, cannabis and other illicit drugs in adults. Interventions studied include home visiting programs, parent support programs, physical activity programs, brief interventions in primary and specialist healthcare, and internetbased treatment.
