Welcome to Universitetstandvården (University Dental Clinic)
Universitetstandvården is Karolinska Institutet's dental clinic. Here you can be treated by students studying to become dentists or dental hygienists, or by their teachers, who are all licensed dentists and dental hygienists. We also have specialist dentists in most subjects who treat children and adults with more severe problems.

If you need a root canal or a crown, bridge or implant treatment, you can turn to the students at Karolinska Institutet's dental programme. The treatment costs less and takes a little longer than with other dentists.

Akutmottagning (Emergency Dental Clinic)
If you have an acute toothache, you are welcome to visit Universitetstandvården. You can either be treated by a student or a licenced dentist.
Klinikerna för vuxentandvård (Adult Dental Clinics) Become a patient of a student
At the Universitetstandvården we can offer dental care at lower prices. All treatment carried out by students at the adult dental clinics takes place under the careful supervision of teachers. All teachers are qualified.
Lärarkliniken (Teacher Clinic)
Dental care by dentists who also teach on the dental programme and are close to research.
Specialistkliniken (Specialist Clinic)
Universitetstandvårdens specialist dentists treat you if you have special care needs that require extensive examinations and qualified treatments.
Kliniken för barn- och ungdomstandvård (Child and Adolescent Dental Clinic)
At kliniken för barn- och ungdomstandvård, we accept referrals from children, adolescents and young adults up to 23 years of age with oral and dental diseases requiring specialised care.
Kliniken för tandreglering (Orthodontic clinic)
At our clinic, we have extensive experience in helping adults and children with orthodontic treatment. If you have a malocclusion and need braces, we are here to help you.
Odontologisk röntgen (Dental X-ray)
To help you get the right diagnosis and treatment, we often need to take X-rays of your teeth or jaws. We provide care, training and research in radiology.
