About the Division of Nursing
Our activities are founded in knowledge that supports health, alleviates suffering, increases participation and provides fundamental care needs. Person-centered care and collaboration with other health care professionals is crucial as well as our collaboration with the clinical setting.
The education is based on campus as well as distance learning for all the programs in nursing on bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. Our education has a strong research link and an interprofessional profile. The division has an extensive international student exchange. Read more
The aim of our research is to contribute to evidence based guidelines and new practices, from the patient’s perspective, problems and needs. Research contributes to the theoretical development of nursing and enhanced quality of safe and participatory care. Read more
