Interdisciplinary Network for Qualitative Researchers at KI (KI-QUAL)
The Karolinska Interdisciplinary Network for Qualitative Researchers (KI-QUAL) is an interdisciplinary and cross-departmental network with the goal to connect and facilitate collaboration among qualitative researchers at Karolinska Institutet (KI).
KI-QUAL supports the use and development of qualitative health research. Qualitative research is uniquely positioned to study lived experiences and to approach peoples' complex realities and health needs. The strength of qualitative methods lies in their exploratory and descriptive powers often missing from the medical sciences.
The network offers continuing education, networking, and collaboration opportunities for both experienced and early-career researchers. We are a new network but already have members from nearly all KI departments, spanning both KI South and KI North campuses.
