Infrastructure and resources
Karolinska Institutet offers a wide range of service laboratories, competence centres and research apparatus in areas such as imaging, biostatistics, biobanking, proteomics and genomics, and has a coherent organization for animal research. Researchers can also receive administrative support for organising conferences, grant applications and more. In recent years, our two main campuses in the Stockholm area have expanded rappidly, with new buildings for laboratories, offices and animal facilities. The University Library is the largest medical library in Scandinavia and open to the public.
