The centre in the media
Willingness to help is great, but efforts not always the best ones
The will to help those affected by a disaster is often great, but the efforts may not always be the most optimal. One such example is donations of clothes to Ukraine. The head of the Centre for Research on Health Care in Disasters, Professor Johan von Schreeb is interviewed in Svenska Dagbladet (in Swedish).
On the Ebola outbreak in Uganda
At the end of September 2022 an Ebola outbreak was declared in Uganda. Our research specialist Anneli Eriksson went to work in the area with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). She is interviewed about her experiences on the Swedish breakfast news programme Morgonstudion. (in Swedish, the interview starts around 3 hours 10 minutes into the programme).
