The KI Psychology Speaker Series at Nobel Forum features some of the most influential researchers of today in the realms of mind, brain and behavior. The speaker series is hosted by the Division of Psychology, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet.

The event features a online talk followed by a Q&A with Lisa Feldman Barrett.

Three lessons about the brain

The lecture will describe three aspects of brain architecture and corresponding hypotheses about their computational affordances: (1)  A brain’s most important job is efficiently coordinating and regulating the systems of its body (2) as it continually constructs categories (3) that guide action and create lived experience in a metabolically efficient way.
