New Funding Opportunities 2020

Blue Sky Grant, Translational Seed Funding, as well as KI and Mayo Clinic Collaborative Call

Cancer Research KI launches two opportunities to apply for research funding in the area of cancer research. The first call (Blue Sky Grant), which has been launched during the last few years, is a “high risk – high reward” type of funding, while the second call (Translational Seed Funding) is a new program for novel collaborations between basic and clinical scientists in the area of translational cancer research.

Karolinska Institutet and Mayo Clinic Cancer Center Collaborative Call in Breast Cancer:

The objective of this funding is to provide support to initiate and enhance collaborations in breast cancer research between Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and Karolinska Institutet - Cancer Research KI. This newly formed collaboration will begin with an initial phase supporting two demonstration projects in 2020 on the topic of Breast cancer, due to already existing links and collaboration between the research entities.
