A message from Erik Slottner
At the inauguration of Karolinska Institutet’s Centre for AI Innovation we were delighted to have a greeting from Erik Slottner, Sweden’s Minister for Public Administration, who carries responsibility for the country’s digitalisation policy.
– Sweden is a world leader in artificial intelligence for healthcare and life sciences, which makes it especially important to continue promoting and supporting AI development in these fields. Today’s inauguration is an important piece of the puzzle for Sweden’s growth as an AI nation, and for attracting and retaining AI talent.
He also highlighted the importance of Sweden’s participation in the EU Digital Programme, which provided a basis for establishing the centre.
– The Centre for AI Innovation at Karolinska Institutet provides us with an excellent platform for future collaboration and cooperation in the pursuit of excellence in Sweden and Europe.
