Protein Science Core Facility (PSF)
PSF is a core facility that provides protein production, macromolecular X-ray crystallography (MX) and biophysical protein characterization. Access to instruments for MX and biophysics are available after user training. PSF belongs to the department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics (MBB) and are located in Biomedicum quarter 8D.

PPS National Infrastructure
Protein Science Facility is a member of Protein Production Sweden, a national research infrastructure funded by VR and established in 2022. PPS focuses on the production and purification of recombinant protein reagents for all Swedish researchers. The seven participating PPS labs together offer several different expression systems which allows the production of many types of proteins.
