Centres and divisions
The division gathers research groups and researchers with backgrounds in various health care professions, education and psychology with expertise in prevention and promotion of national and global health care and a wide range of methods such as survey design, psychometric, interview techniques and ethnography.
HIC) performs research in the areas of clinical decision making, integrated patient-centred information systems for collaborative care and patient e-services with special focus on usability.
MMC works nationally, regionally and locally with authorities, health care providers and patient representatives as well as with educational and research institutions in medicine and health care, and serves as a conveyor of knowledge and research related support for change and development.
Karolinska Institutet, the Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University have together established Stockholm Centre for Healthcare Ethics, CHE.
Since 1993, NASP has been Stockholm County Council's advisor on Suicide Research and Prevention of Mental Ill-Health, and since 1995, NASP has been the Government's Expert in Suicide Prevention.
The division focuses on conducting high quality, health care science-relevant research through multi-disciplinary collaboration.
