Health behaviors among people with disabilities

Health behaviors have a significant impact on mental and physical health for everyone. Living healthier is the greatest opportunity we have to influence our own health. However, behavioural change is difficult, and people with disabilities who wish to improve their health behaviours often need support

The LEV project

Current efforts to implement preventive healthcare that considers health behaviors are still very limited. There is a lack of knowledge and tools that support people with disabilities. The LEV project has been developed in collaboration with individuals with disabilities and various healthcare professionals to find approaches that work in different contexts. A particular focus is on conducting research and developing interventions for individuals with disabilities such as autism, ADHD or intellectual disability.
