Tatja Hirvikoski

Tatja Hirvikoski’s current clinical affiliation is at Habilitation &
Health, Stockholm, where she holds the position of Head of the Unit for Research,
Development and Education. Her research affiliation is with Center for
Neurodevelopmental Disorders at Karolinska Institutet, KIND.

Tatja Hirvikoski’s research group at KIND at Karolinska Institutet develops evidence-based methods to support better lives for individuals with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. We conduct mostly clinically oriented research projects, often in collaboration with Swedish habilitation services.

Our focus areas are:

• Autistic adults and their family members and close others
• Parents with ADHD
• Parents of children with disabilities
• Health and ill-health in neurodevelopmental conditions
• Health behaviors among individuals with disabilities
• Intellectual disabilities within forensic psychiatric services
• Adults with ADHD and their family members and close others.
