KI's collaboration with The Cell

The Cell is run by "Tekniska museet" with Karolinska Institutet as knowledge partner. It is a place to experience, understand and discuss life science through challenging and interesting experiences.

The Cell is a place where art and science provides a better understanding of the field of life science: what it is today and where it is heading with opportunities and challenges.

Target groups

The aim of The Cell is to reach out broadly in society, not only to those already interested in life science, but also to attract new audiences, for example through collaboration with schools. On weekdays, The Cell is a resource for students and teachers, while weekends and evenings offer interesting talks and creative music and art experiences.

The Cell is also an opportunity for KI's doctoral students and researchers to communicate their research to a wider audience. And to offer interesting and inspiring activities (exhibitions, performances, dialogues/conversations) together with artists and museum educators.
