Are you planning a conference, annual general meeting, or a smaller event? At Aula Medica, you can rent a venue equipped with state-of-the-art technology and space for up to 1 000 guests. The foyers are versatile and suitable for everything from exhibitions to mingling.
Over the years, Aula Medica has hosted Nobel lectures, scientific symposia, and annual general meetings. Thanks to a donation from the Erling-Persson Family Foundation, the building could be erected in conjunction with Karolinska Institutet's 200th anniversary. The inauguration took place on October 11, 2013. The architect for Aula Medica is Wingårdh Arkitektkontor.

Aula Medica offers both smaller and larger spaces for various types of gatherings. Below we have listed the most popular halls.
Erling Persson Hall – Capacity for 1 000 people
The auditorium in Aula Medica is named Erling Persson Hall and is built as an amphitheater with a capacity for 1 000 people. With fantastic acoustics and a large stage, the auditorium is suitable for many different types of events. The hall is equipped with high-tech standards, and the technology is included in the rental price. It is also possible to divide the hall to adjust to the number of participants. The hall is named after the donor Stefan Persson’s father, H&M founder Erling Persson.
Flexible mingling areas
Directly adjacent to Erling Persson Hall are bright and airy foyers on floors 2, 3, and 4. Large areas for product exhibitions, fairs, and mingling. The foyer areas are included with the booking at no extra cost.
Food and drink
On the ground floor, there is Restaurant Nanna Svartz with seating for 180 guests. At the main entrance on Nobels väg 6, there is Café Erik Jorpes serving light meals. The restaurants in Aula Medica also ensure that conferences and other events can have their catering served in one of our foyers. On the 7th floor is the faculty club Svarta Räfven with a view over Stockholm, available for booking business lunches and smaller groups.

All conference rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to meet the various technical needs of customers. The auditorium has large screens, several projectors, and different types of microphones. Technicians are on-site in Erling Persson Hall and included in the price.
Aula Medica is accessible for everyone
Aula Medica has good accessibility for people with disabilities. With elevators to the auditorium and six audience entrances, it is easy for everyone to enter. The auditorium is equipped according to accessibility standards with hearing loops and signage for the visually impaired.

You can reach Aula Medica by bus, commuter train, subway, or car. Odenplan is the nearest commuter train station, and ST: Eriksplan is the nearest subway station.
