The Council for systematic quality work
The Council for systematic quality work reports formally to the Faculty Board and its primary task is to support the Faculty Board in the development of KI's quality assurance system and systematic quality work.
In practice, this means that the Council follows up and, if necessary, proposes the development of the KI-internal processes to follow up and ensure that KI's education and research are carried out with high quality. The Council will also provide support with KI's work with externally initiated quality reviews.
Commission
The Council submits its proposals for the development of quality work to the Faculty Board, the Faculty Board's committees or to other central executives with decision-making power in KI's organisation, such as the Vice-Chancellor and the University Director. The proposals are compiled annually in a status report in which KI's quality assurance system and systematic quality work are described and analysed, and where the need for development is presented to those responsible in various areas.
The Council has a mandate to establish KI's Reading and Review Group that provides support in planning and carrying out externally initiated quality reviews. This review group overseesthe quality in all the documentation that KI discloses in connection with such reviews.
