The Brain Molecular Imaging Centre Core Facility consists of a multidisciplinary team conducting preclinical and clinical molecular imaging of the brain and body using Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and data analysis.

BMIC is one of the core facilities within the Division of Imaging Core Facilities at the department of Clinical Neuroscience as well as part of the Centre for Imaging Research (CIR).
BMIC works in close collaboration with other core facilities within the division and CIR, such as Radiopharmacy core facility (RCF), Karolinska Experimental Research and Imaging Centre (KERIC) and Autoradiography Core Facility (ARG).
BMIC also work closely with research groups conducting PET, some of which are co-located at BioCliniocum in Solna.
In addition to these, BMIC participates in research projects in collaboration with many researchers at KI, other universities in Sweden and the world, as well as most pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
