Functional Systems Oncology – Tom Erkers' Team

Our research team focuses on functional systems oncology, exploring how cancer cell behaviour, diversity, and interactions shape treatment outcomes. We integrate functional precision medicine (fPM) with advanced molecular profiling to better understand these system dynamics. By developing tools to measure them routinely, we aim to enhance predictive personalized medicine and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
