The Centre for Cluster Headache includes all research at Karolinska Institutet regarding cluster headaches and offers a well-integrated collaboration between research and clinical operations. The main goal of our research is to understand the molecular and genetic mechanisms behind cluster headache, as well as to identify new targets for diagnosis and treatment.

Recent Advances in Cluster Headache Research and Medicine
Welcome to the very first international Cluster Headache Symposium, an event supported by the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet. While the symposium is free to attend, we kindly ask you to register promptly due to limited seating. The event will be held in Nobel Forum, Campus Solna on Friday 16 May 2025.

Cluster Headache Awareness Day
21 March is the “Cluster Headache Awareness Day”, a prominent event to promote Cluster Headache on scientific and public levels. The spring equinox represents the perfect choice for a disease with such a great circadian and circannual rhythmicity.
