Executive group at HERM
Eva Hellström Lindberg
Co-chair HERM and Chair Hematology UnitEva Hellström Lindberg is Co-chair at HERM and Chair at the Hematology Unit at the Department of medicine, Huddinge. She is also group leader for her research group studying Myelodysplastic syndromes.
Eva is a double specialist in Hematology and Internal medicine since 1993, and Professor of Hematology at the Department of Medicine, Huddinge since 2009. She has worked within the translational research field for many years and been actively involved in strategic research questions. Eva has been president for European Association of Hematology as well as for Swedish Society of Hematology.
Yenan Bryceson is Co-chair at HERM together with Eva Hellström Lindberg. He is also leading the Yenan Bryceson group and laboratory located within HERM.
Yenan received his MSc degree from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2000. He received his PhD from Karolinska Institutet in 2008 after after working in the lab of Eric Long at the National Institutes of Health, Rockville, MD, USA, receiving support from the National Institutes of Health, Karolinska Institutet Graduate Partnership Program.
