Quality assurance and assessment of education
The Evaluation Unit has been commissioned to develop methods for evaluating, managing, analysing and reporting on several aspects of educational quality. You can read more about the development of the system on this page.
The Evaluation Unit (EVAL) has been responsible for investigating self-perceived aspects of educational quality from the perspective of both internal (students and staff) and external (employer) stakeholders. We have done this through student course evaluations, student barometer, exit polls, alumni inquiries and future employee surveys. EVAL has also worked with the Committee for Doctoral Education and the Course and Programme Committee to evaluate all doctoral courses, research schools, and doctoral activities, as well as compiling annual reports and multi-year aggregated reports.
As of January 2022, evaluation for the Committee for Higher Education and Committee for Doctoral Education have moved to Teaching and Learning (Undervisning och Lärande). Please contact them for more information about evaluation of undergraduate and master's level teaching as well as evaluation of doctoral courses.
