WHO commissioned scoping reviews on TB and vulnerable populations | Social medicine, infectious diseases and migration (SIM)

WHO-commissioned scoping reviews on TB in vulnerable populations with teams collaborating across Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, and the University of Tampere.

The first review concerns the socioeconomic impact of TB in adolescents and young people. The second, is a review of interventions to address TB and selected comorbidities including mental health disorders, diabetes, and malnutrition. The two scoping reviews are feeding into WHO's TB policy agenda and future research and implementation studies from 2022 onwards.
