Over the years, more than 2500 students, researchers and employees have crossed the Atlantic and participated in activities at both Mayo Clinic and KI. This longstanding partnership has evolved throughout the years and includes successful research projects as well as unique collaborations in innovation, administration and education.

Mayo Clinic and Karolinska Institute have extended their collaboration to include the exchange of students. Two students per year of each organization are welcome to apply for exchange studies.
