Nordic Quantum Life Science
The Nordic Quantum Life Science Roundtable, initiated in 2021, is a conference that brings together leading researchers, clinicians, industry experts, and policymakers to advance the integration of quantum technologies in life sciences and healthcare.
It rotates annually among the Nordic countries, having started in Sweden in 2021, followed by Denmark in 2022, Finland in 2023, Norway in 2024, and returning to Sweden in 2025 to celebrate the five-year jubilee.
The Roundtable serves as a strategic platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, developing quantum life science applications and shaping a robust Nordic quantum life science ecosystem.
Goals of Nordic QLS
- Catalyze QLS research and innovation across the Nordic region
- Share infrastructure, data, and expertise to accelerate discovery and application
- Develop joint projects and funding strategies
- Promote Nordic leadership in the global QLS landscape
Nordic QLS use cases
The Nordic QLS initiative supports a growing portfolio of application-driven use cases that demonstrate the potential of quantum technologies in life sciences. These projects span quantum computing, quantum sensing, and hybrid AI-quantum approaches, with applications in drug discovery, biomolecular simulation, precision diagnostics, and neuroimaging.
