Accommodation areas
All KI Housing rooms and apartments are furnished. Basic cooking and household utensils are provided.
The beds in all rooms and apartments have mattress, mattress cover (not included at Strix and Pax), quilt (size 150x200 cm) and pillow (size 50x60 cm).
You need to bring your own bed linen and towels.
The rent includes water, heating and electricity.
The standard voltage in Sweden is 230 Volt AC (EU-standard).

84 apartments (both individual and shared) - from SEK 4959 per month (SEK 5058 from Jan 1, 2025)
KI Housing offers 84 apartments of different sizes at Studentvägen/Alfred Nobels Allé, located on KI Campus in Flemingsberg. There are 30 studio apartments, 4 shared three-bedroom apartments, 35 shared two-bedroom apartments and 15 family apartments.

KI Housing offers 316 apartments of different sizes in our brand new accommodation center “KI Residence Solna”, located directly on the KI Campus in Solna. KI Residence Solna consists of three buildings with 140 studio apartments, 120 studios with shared kitchen, 38 shared 2-bedroom apartments and 18 shared 4-bedroom apartments.

KI Housing offers 71 dorm rooms ensuite in Pax, at Emmylundsvägen 1-3. The rooms are 18 square meters and fully furnished. In this student accommodation area you have your own private room and bathroom. You have access to common kitchen, laundry room and internet.

KI Housing offers 12 dorm rooms ensuite in Strix, at Armégatan 32. The rooms are 16 square meters and fully furnished. In this student accommodation area you have your own private room and bathroom. You have access to common kitchen, laundry room and internet.

4 small townhouses - SEK 10 800 per month
KI Housing rents 4 small townhouses for families at Berzelius väg 2, located on KI Campus in Solna. The townhouses/family apartments are 65 square meters, fully furnished and have two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is access to a common laundry room.
The area will be closed for renovation during 2025 and is therefore currently not possible to apply for.

Applying for accommodation through KI Housing
Incoming international students and researchers within eligible categories who will be studying/working at Karolinska Institutet can apply for KI Housing accommodation.
