Undergraduate Level

Do you admit international students into an undergraduate programme?

Within the European exchange programme Erasmus with universities that KI has student exchange agreements, yes. For more information please contact Malin Ahlén, international study adviser.

Master Courses

Do you offer master courses for international students?

No, we don't.

Specialist Training Programme

What kind of specialist training programmes do you offer for international dentists?

We offer a three-year specialist training programme/postgraduate programme in orthodontics and endodontics held in English. The 2017-2020 Specialist Training Programme in Orthodontics including a master degree will be a 3,5 year programme. 

Who can apply?

You need a degree in Dental Surgery achieved at a university recognized by Karolinska Institutet, a minimum of two years full-time clinical experience in general practice and documented skills in the English language.

What does it cost?

600.000 SEK/year for the Specialist Training Programme in Orthodontics 2017-2020. The cost of the 7th and final semester will subsequently be 300.000 SEK. 

When do you admit the next group of candidates and when is the application deadline?

 The application deadline for the master's courses & Clinical Specialisation in Orthodontics 2017-2020 is 28th of March 2016.
