C3T Workshops

The Center for Cellular Cancer Therapy organizes annual workshops focusing on fundamental cytotoxic lymphocyte biology all the way to clinical implementation of cell therapies.

Highlights from the first C3T Annual Workshop

The Center for Cellular Cancer Therapy (C3T) at Karolinska Institutet successfully held its first annual Workshop on September 5-6, 2024, at the beautiful Rönneberga Konferens Center in Lidingö, Stockholm. This event included talks from eight invited leading international scientists. Participants encompassed clinicians, researchers and students from Karolinska Institutet as well as different research centers across Sweden interested in T cell and NK cell biology and their application to cell therapy for cancer.

The Workshop fostered insightful discussions and collaborative exchanges across a range of basic, translational, and clinical topics focused on advancing cellular cancer therapies.

Key Sessions and Topics

The Workshop was organized into three key sessions:

  • Session 1: Lymphocyte Differentiation
  • Session 2: Tumor Microenvironment
  • Session 3: Cell based Immonotherapies

Event Success and Future Outlook

The Workshop was a great success, fostering collaboration among experts from diverse backgrounds and providing a platform for young researchers to present their work. The positive feedback from participants has already set the stage for future annual Workshops.

We are grateful to all speakers, attendees, as well as financial support from  the Swedish Research Council who contributed to the success of this event, and we look forward to continuing these discussions at next year’s C3T Annual Workshop. Stay tuned!
