PIF - our offer

PIF provides several advanced imaging modalities and technical support needed for experimental design, choosing the imaging modality and imaging data acquisition/analysis for academic researchers as well as industry partners. Currently, PIF has five different imaging instruments covering eight different modalities that operate within the same barrier. This enables researchers to utilise the new concept "multimodality imaging" without moving animals between different animal facilities.

Our goal is to be the state-of-the-art preclinical imaging facility that provides and promotes high quality transnational research and hence paves the way for the clinical world. PIF strives to develop methods and techniques that can be applied in the research areas of RS and KI, with a particular focus on KS-H/KI-Syd, including cancer, regenerative medicine, transplantation, hematology, cardiology, vaccines, nanotechnology and advanced cell, gene and tissue therapies (ATMP).
