The Core Unit at OnkPat supports a welcoming and professional research environment within research theme Cancer at BioClinicum. Our mission is to provide coordinated infrastructure, shared core facilities, and high-quality support for instruments, laboratory environments, and facility-related matters.

CoordinatorResponsible for infrastructure, facility management, temporary access cards, and overall coordination within the Cancer research theme at BioClinicum. Additional roles include chair of the OnkPat Work Environment Group, biosafety officer, fire safety manager, and procurement coordinator.
Histo-Core Manager
Anna Malmerfelt
Research EngineerLeads the Histo-Core facility and serves as OnkPat’s chemical safety officer and inspector for flammable materials.
Coordinator and Facility Manager
Susanne Öhlin
Biomedical ScientistResponsible for the FACS facility and Incucyte system, manages service agreements for shared instruments, purchaser of shared consumables and responsible for temporary access cards for research theme Cancer. Works part-time (50%).
Coordinator and Sustainability Officer
Katja Pokrovskaja Tamm
Project CoordinatorWorks with coordination, environmental and sustainability matters at OnkPat, and represents the research theme Cancer in BioClinicum House Council. Works part-time (30%).
