Tox Master student blogs
The blogs are for prospective students who want an idea of what studying at KI is like. The bloggers are all current or former students at the Tox Master’s Programme, so you can see what student life is like through the eyes of our students!
Student blogs
All blogs from KI students are found at studentblogs.ki.se. This is also where you can find the current Tox Master digital ambassadors.
Mina Ristovska
My name is Mina and I was born in Skopje, North Macedonia, but I have been living in Sweden for more or less half of my life. I’ve lived in Gothenburg for the majority of this time and moved to Stockholm 3 years ago to do my bachelor’s in biomedicine here at Karolinska Institutet (KI). Currently I‘m studying the Master’s Programme in Toxicology and I’m the new blogger for the programme.
Former student bloggers
Jiehyun Choi
Jiehyun is a former student and digital ambassador who graduated in 2019. Jiehyun applied to KI for its uniquely well-established master's degree in Toxicology; a course not offered at many universities. "The close connection between students and professors and the international environment made me feel very welcome."
Aline Colonnello Montero
My name is Aline Colonnello Montero, I am twenty five years old and I come from the wonderful but busy Mexico City. I consider myself to be a perseverant person who works hard to meet all my goals and ambitions. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology and I currently study the Master’s programme in Toxicology at Karolinska Institutet. My job as part of the digital ambassadors’ team consists on writing blogs.
Lianne Granston
Hi! I’m Lianne from Ireland and England, currently studying the Master’s Programme in Toxicology at KI. Before coming to Sweden I was living in The Netherlands where I completed my bachelor’s degree in natural sciences. I looked forward to coming to Sweden for the nature and happened to stumble across Karolinska Institutet! It sounded very appealing since the university is specialised in life sciences with a focus on human health. I thought it would be a great place to do my master’s degree and I couldn’t be happier to be studying here.
Riccardo Cinotti
Hi everyone! I’m Riccardo, I’m 23 and I’m from Italy. I’m originally from Tuscany, near Florence, but I’ve been living north of Milan since I was one year old. Milan is also the place where I graduated one year ago.
