  • Nicolas Ruffin at the Division of Neuro has written a Blog post published at the University of Bergen about the World MS day symposium hosted by Karolinska on May 30th 2024 entitled: “How Current Research Shapes the Future of MS Care: A Recap of Our Successful Symposium”. The symposium was organized by Associate Professor Nicolas Ruffin, with the help of Dr Chiara Starvaggi Cucuzza, Dr Urszula Rykaczewska and Dr Lara Kular, from the Center of Molecular Medicine. 

 

  • Interview with Professor Fredrik Piehl and Professor Gonçalo Castelo-Branco

    Short interview with Professor Fredrik Piehl (CMM) and Professor Goncalo Castelo-Branco (MBB) regarding the role of single-cell technologies in the current understanding of the human genome in both health and disease with the purpose of eventually applying this knowledge to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, and contribute to a better understanding of the key role of myelin in the hallmark events of demyelination and remyelination.   • KNIMS retreat 2023 (Feb 20-21)

    This 2-day overnight event held at a conference venue within the Stockholm municipality, provides a great opportunity for networking and for junior and senior researchers to present and discuss the impact of their research findings. PIs conduct a Q&A session, PhD students present a 3-min project pitch, there are plenary presentations of selected MS topics, international speaker and an educational professional development session.
