Forskningsbeskrivning
- Jag kombinerar beteendemetoder, beräkningsmodellering, farmakologiska
manipuleringar och bildteknik som fMRI, PET och MEG. Mina forskningsintresse
består numera av: att förstå den roll som neuromodulatorer dopamin har i
motivationsprocessen och beslutsfattande - att förstå sambandet mellan
försämringen av det dopaminerga systemet och kognitiv försämring vid
normalt åldrandet - att förstå hippocampus roll vid alstring av adaptiva
svar i samband med ångest eller nyheter. Dessutom planerar jag en ny studie
för att utöka vår förståelse av kopplingen mellan kognitiva funktioner
som ligger bakom beslutsfattande och depressionsrisk.
