Forskningsbeskrivning
- My PhD study is focused on the development and assessment of CT liver
perfusion in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. CT liver perfusion is an
innovative imaging technique that provides information on liver tissue
microcirculation and can assist clinicians in the diagnosis of liver cancer,
treatment choice and monitoring of modern therapeutic agents. The goal of my
PhD is to refine the image acquisition and interpretation of CT Liver
Perfusion and investigate whether it can be successfully incorporated in the
everyday clinical practice. Simultaneously, I participate in several ongoing
projects at KI pertaining to imaging of liver, pancreatic, esophageal and
renal cancer.
