Om mig

Jag är barnmorska och docent med inriktning mot reproduktiv hälsa. Som barnmorska har jag främst varit verksam inom förlossningsvården och bedriver även forskning inriktad mot barnmorskans handläggning av förlossning och organisation av förlossningsvård. Jag undervisar studenter vid barnmorskeprogrammet och fristående kurser vid Karolinska Institutet.

Min forskning är främst inriktad mot att minska förekomsten av förlossningsskador bland kvinnor i Sverige samt i låginkomstmiljöer samt att förbättra vården vid barnafödande för kvinnor som inte pratar svenska. Projekt där jag är huvudansvarig forskare:
