BSL3 Biomedicum Core Facility - user guidelines
The operating routines of the BSL3 Biomedicum Core Facility were established together with researchers at Karolinska Institutet experienced in the handling of risk-group 3 pathogens together with representatives from Karolinska Institutet’s Biosafety Committee.
Access to BSL3 Biomedicum Core Facility
It is incumbent to all users of the BSL3 Biomedicum Core Facility to understand the risks associated with the pathogens handled in the facility and to follow the facility workflows for the safe and orderly handling of these pathogens.
Users must fulfill a series of obligations before they can access the core facility. As such, plan your access well in advance so that risk assessments, permits, procedures and training needs can be addressed.
