Networking, education, and training

KITI plans to establish structured networking formats such as workshops, seminars, and “meet-and-match” sessions aimed at identifying shared research interests and fostering new collaborations. The network will also facilitate informal grant incubation discussions to support the development of interdisciplinary projects across departments and campuses.

KITI strives to integrate educational activities, including the “Tissue immunology” and “Mucosal Immunology” doctoral courses as a part of the Aii doctoral program. KITI aims at contributing to training the next generation of researchers by providing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and scientific exchange.

In addition, the network will organize low-threshold training formats such as work-in-progress sessions and methodology-focused exchange meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development. KITI will further support early-career researchers by providing opportunities for presentation, networking, and peer exchange within the network.
