Viktor Mili-Schmidt

I am a specialist in orthopaedic surgery, working with fracture surgery at Danderyd Hospital.

My research is conducted through Karolinska Institutet and primarily focuses on upper extremity fractures; my thesis was on distal radius fractures.

I am a co-founder of the D-WHIN research group at KI DS.

In my research, I am mainly interested in fracture surgery and, together with colleagues, I am involved in several projects on upper extremity surgery.

Among other things, we are currently running a large international RCT on metacarpal fractures (CARBO), where I serve as co-supervisor for a PhD student.

In addition, I supervise a PhD student working on a project on elbow fractures, which includes an international RCT on elbow fractures (SCORE).
