About me
I am a nurse and health economist with a Master's in Public Health and 10 years of experience in both hospitals and companies. Currently, I work as a research assistant at the Aging Research Center under the supervision of Serhiy Dektyar. My research focuses on physical resilience in older adults, particularly exploring the factors that allow some individuals to maintain their physical function despite the presence of chronic diseases.
Research
Physical resilience: I am investigating why some older adults maintain better physical function than expected given their clinical conditions and sociodemographic factors. I am particularly interested in how physical resilience can contribute to longer survival and offset risks associated with genetic predispositions. We aim to integrate assessments of physical resilience into clinical practice to improve risk stratification and to minimize clinical uncertainties.
