Reviews from Former Students in the Graduate School of General Practice
Former students share their experiences of the graduate school.
Sandra af Winklerfelt Hammarberg, General Practitioner, Doctor of Medicine
The Graduate School of General Practice provided not only a solid and broad knowledge base essential for doctoral studies, but also a sense of community, joy, and curiosity – which I believe are just as important for having the desire and strength to keep going when faced with challenges, as one often does in research.
Nazmije Kelmendi, District Nurse, PhD Candidate
The Graduate School of General Practice provided me with a solid introduction, offering fundamental knowledge that all aspiring researchers should acquire, as well as broadening my understanding of research beyond my own field. It was also valuable to be part of a class with various professions and gain insight into different research areas.
Kimberly Kane, Behavioural Scientist, PhD Candidate
The doctoral programme provided the introduction to quantitative methods that I had hoped for when I applied. The courses on complex interventions and epidemiology were particularly rewarding and have inspired me to pursue more of that type of research in the future. However, the best part was probably meeting and getting to know my fellow students. Their diverse backgrounds and enthusiasm for their research enriched my learning experience, and it has simply been a joy to get to know them.
