Mission and responsibilities
The mission of the IT Office is to lay the foundation for a secure, accessible and cost-effective information supply for KI's operations. We do this by:
- Having the overall and technical responsibility for IT security.
- Delivering modern standard services to all business areas.
- Being a driving force in the digitalisation of the Professional Support Services.
- Ensuring effective management of common IT systems.
- Promoting innovation and competitiveness in research and education through cutting-edge digital services.
- Being responsible for, and developing, KI's IT strategy.
- Collaborating with the region and hospitals on IT infrastructure for KI staff.
Organisation and units
The IT Office consists of management support (IT architect and IT security manager) and four units. The management team includes the IT and digitalisation director, head of units, controller, IT architect and IT security manager:
