Om mig

År 2000, efter mer än ett decenium i industrins tjänst beslöt jag mig för att uppgradera mina akademiska meriter. Jag är fortfarande kvar på Karolinska institutet och sedand 2010 leder jag Enheten Terapeutisk immundesign (TID). Jag motiveras av multidisciplinära projekt som syftar till att omvandla basal kunskap om vårt immunsystem, via molekylärbiologiskt framtagna molekyler till diagnostik och botande behandling av patienter.

Forskningsbeskrivning

Vårt fokus är diagnostik och behandling inom sjukdomsområdena allergi, astma, neurodegeneration och autoimmunitet. Vi kombinerar specialistkunskap inom immunologi´med vår egenutvecklade kloningsplattform för att designa makromolekyler för diagnostik och botande behandling. Vi arbetar med vuxen och barnkliniker, nedfrysta prover från olika kohorter, patientorganisationer, små och medelstora företag och forskande kolleger runt om i världen.
